Job Description

TBA Group is part of a multi-national group of companies and promotes a creative and dynamic work environment is looking to recruit an EMEA Sales Manager on a permanent basis. TBA Group produces market leading, large-scale, distribution and supply chain software products used by customers worldwide and is aiming for further substantial growth over the next 5 years.

We are proud to have a truly global customer base who operate across logistics, warehousing, terminals, and ports, 24/7. The EMEA Sales Manager position at TBA Doncaster Ltd is crucial in supporting the company's growth and strategic plans. The role primarily focuses on developing sales for TBA Doncaster’s complete product portfolio and services to facilitate the implementation of fully integrated solutions.

Although this position serves TBA Doncaster, due to the location of potential clients we are considering candidates based in Western Europe with a base in Rijswijk, Netherlands.

What are we looking for?

As the EMEA Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing a network of contacts, presenting TBA solutions, making proposals, following up on leads, and maintaining client information.

 

Additionally, you will attend exhibitions and conferences, provide feedback to the technical team, implement closing strategies, and expand customer relationships.

  • A natural networker, comfortable building relationships and establishing a contact portfolio.
  • Someone with a strong and proven background in developing sales and leads.
  • Ability to drive sales through building key relationships with new and existing client.
  • Proven track record of maximizing opportunities through diligent follow-up and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to learn about processes and systems, recognizing how TBA products can solve customer issues.
  • Someone with a technical background would be beneficial. Background in digital technology (desirable).
  • Willingness to travel globally at short notice if required. Travel is an intrinsic part of the role.

    TBA Doncaster Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Konecranes PLC and was established in 1977. The company has achieved consistent growth over the past decade, primarily driven by the success of its Terminal Operating System, CommTrac, utilized by 40 terminals globally. TBA Doncaster also possesses an automation engineering division, allowing access to real-time data sources and setting TBA apart from its competitors. The company's business plan aims to triple software sales turnover within the next five years, with this role playing a fundamental part in achieving that strategy.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a network of contacts in pre-agreed markets/geographical areas through trade bodies, exhibitions, conferences, social media, and personal contact.
  • Present TBA solutions to prospective clients, including product demonstrations when necessary.
  • Diligently and systematically follow up on contacts, leads, and other actions.
  • Enter, update, and maintain daily sales activities and client/customer information in the Sales database.
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences as both a visitor and an exhibitor.
  • Provide feedback to the technical team on customer response to products.
  • Suggest and implement closing business strategies in relation to sales.
  • Challenge (potential) customers on ideas, plans, and solutions.
  • Expand relationships with customers into other organizations through recommendations and inquiries.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with key customer personnel.
