What are we looking for?

  • Experience in managing key client relationships & business consulting
  • Someone who can think “out of the box” and make recommendations that add value to our clients
  • Someone who is able to use a contextual approach, “Sense making”, to help our clients to see what a good solution would be for their need
  • Be familiar with tender processes & specifications
  • Be familiar with automation solutions & (C-level) presenting to these clients
  • Previous experience of working in a project environment and having the ability to understand key milestones, risks & change management
  • Previous experience in automation technical detail, but with the ability to zoom out and see the big picture
  • Experience and affinity with logistics, automation & software is a strong preference

    Job Description

    The world around us, and especially the logistics supply chain, operates more and more international and automated. As a market leader in automated marine terminal operations software, we are confronted daily with many client questions, which are sometimes directly related to our portfolio, sometimes completely independent and sometimes in combination with other automation & equipment suppliers, as well as electrification & sustainability challenges. As such, our automation consulting has started in 2020 as a separate consulting service, to provide our clients with the best possible advice and create a more conceptual and realistic outlook on huge automation projects in an early phase. The type of advice ranges from small review studies to large scale design & automation studies, and from technical team to C-level. It may comprise only automation advice, but may often involve equipment suppliers & design consultants. 

    Key Responsibilities

  • Working on consultancy projects to support our clients in their automation plans and decisions (container terminal)
  • Developing conceptual modelling and tooling, and standard approaches
  • Support marketing and sales activities around automation consulting and the broader TBA portfolio
  • Help build yours and TBAs client portfolio
  • Writing white papers, preparing conference presentations and extract publications
  • Contribute to our development of our automation consulting portfolio
  • Leading conversations at C-Level by closely following market developments and building your reputation as a terminal automation expert
